In 2006, in the days of my first career as an elementary school art teacher, Dave Reisman, one of my student's parents, approached me with a great idea for a book and we teamed up.
Through early childhood literacy organizations such as this one and Reach Out And Read, with the generous support of a local foundation, the books continually to be distributed free to thousands of underprivileged children, mostly through pediatricians and social service agencies.
